Women's Head Volleyball Coach (Part-Time)

POSITION: Part-Time Women's Head Volleyball Coach: Athletics; Haverhill Campus; up to 18 hours/week

REPORTS TO: Director of Athletics, Recreation and Intramurals

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• All aspects of coaching in a NJCAA Division III Program:
  • Planning and Directing Practice
  • In Game Coaching
  • Development of a competitive athletic program
  • Recruitment of student-athletes
  • Advising team members
  • Participation in department events and initiatives.
  • Supervision of assistant coach
  • Travel to away contests

Job Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

NOTE: Unless otherwise noted, all required qualifications must be met by date of hire.

• Associate degree or two years of college credit
• Previous coaching experience at the club, high school or collegiate level
• Applicant must have an appreciation for Junior College athletics and demonstrate a sincere commitment to principles of academic/athletic integrity
• Must have a valid driver's license

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
• Experience working with and supporting a culturally diverse population

BACKGROUND CHECK: Candidates will be required to pass a CORI and SORI check as a condition of employment.

Additional Information:
SALARY: $7,500.00, non-benefit position
