General Statement
Adjunct instructors teach courses within a specific discipline to a diverse student population on our main campus in Worcester and/or at additional satellite locations within our service area (i.e., Senior Center, Downtown, and area high schools). Courses may be assigned for days, evenings, or weekends, and responsibilities include instructional preparation, assessment of student performance, and assistance to students. Adjunct faculty will attend a limited number of faculty meetings.
The Interactive Media Game Design program seeks to hire adjunct instructors for the pool to teach courses in video game development (including courses in game design, game production game development, 3D modeling, UI/UX design, drawing the human form).
Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Industry experience in the field of game design
- Proficiency in Unreal Engine, Autodesk Maya, and Adobe CC Products
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters in related field
- Community college teaching experience
- 5+ years of industry experience in the field of Game Design
- Mastery of game development tools (including Unreal Engine, Autodesk Maya, Maxon Zbrush
- Suite, Adobe CC Creative Suite)
