Salesforce Solutions Architect

Job Description Summary:
Salesforce Solutions Architect will drive Salesforce solutions delivery, support design, build, and deliver solutions that help implementations succeed. This may include creating prototypes and proofs of concept to help define requirements. They will recommend implementations that are scalable, sustainable, and add value. The role will work closely with the product managers and other ACC stakeholders to architect and build the future of the platform at Austin Community College District (ACC).

The Solutions Architect will also need to be business-oriented and results-focused, helping the college to enhance its operations through Salesforce implementations.

Job Description:

Description of Duties and Tasks

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Expert in developing custom solutions on the force.com platform leveraging Lightning, Apex, Visual Force, Integrations and out of box Salesforce tools.
  • Direct involvement and/or oversight of developing business requirements, specifications, process flows, application design.
  • Provide technical expertise in the planning, analysis, implementation, and delivery of innovative solutions around Salesforce
  • Provide technical guidance in the creation, maintenance and upgrading CRM platform, Communities and Sites.
  • Experience factoring Salesforce limits into an enterprise architecture
  • Demonstrate a deep knowledge of all Salesforce product offerings
  • Strong technology leadership skills required
  • Outstanding presentation, communication, and facilitation skills
  • Self-starter with proven ability to successfully kick-start new initiatives and to drive complex issues through analysis and resolution
  • Collaborate with colleagues and customers to create prototypes and proofs of concept as a means of eliciting and defining requirements,
  • Review solutions and recommend improvements, collaborative projects and workstream planning.
  • Other duties and responsibilities depending on the business needs



Knowledge

  • Integration with external systems.

  • Expert knowledge of Salesforce.org and Salesforce EDA architecture
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional environment to help support and enhance business systems
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in articulating the functional and technical aspects of product capabilities

  • Able to work, collaborate and contribute in a team environment
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills or experience

Required Work Experience

  • 5+ years of experience working with Salesforce Ecosystem



Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in information systems, computer science or other related fields.



Preferred Work Experience

  • 5+ years of experience with Salesforce Ecosystem


Preferred Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
  • ITIL Foundation Certification



Licenses/Certifications

  • Certified Salesforce Application Architect
  • Certified System Architect
  • Certified Integration Architect
  • Certified Administrator



Special Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver's license


Physical Requirements

  • Work is primarily performed in a standard office or remote/hybrid environment.

Salary Rate

$97,689 - $122,111
